About the role

The IT Technical Support Engineer provides on‑site assistance for Airbus China users, ensuring that hardware, software and meeting‑room equipment operate smoothly. The role combines day‑to‑day service‑desk duties with support for high‑visibility events and specialized devices.

Key responsibilities

• On‑site support for users whose issues cannot be resolved remotely, including executives and urgent business cases.
• Regular inspection of meeting rooms, crisis rooms, big screens, Airbus TV and other critical assets.
• PC mastering: installation, refresh, formatting in line with Airbus PC policy.
• Premium support for Airbus China events such as staff meetings, executive visits, and conferences with airline customers and government authorities.
• Support for specialized devices (industrial PCs, scanning guns, wireless barcode scanners, plotters, printers, Airbus TV, big screens).
• Asset management: maintain accurate inventory, ensure device safety, manage lifecycle, and handle disposal.
• Process license requests and assist with Digital Workplace license management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an IT service‑desk environment.
• Good English proficiency and CET‑4 certification or higher.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); ITIL Foundation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of service‑desk processes and workflow.

Required skills

• Windows operating system imaging and installation via USB or similar tools.
• Video‑conferencing and unified‑communication platforms (Webex, BlueJeans, etc.).
• Basic network troubleshooting and diagnosis.
• Configuration and support of various projector models.
• Support for scanning guns, wireless barcode scanners, plotters and printers.
• Management of Airbus TV, big screens and related AV equipment.
• Asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• License management for Digital Workplace solutions.
