Attorney – Commercial & Legal Counsel

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Attorney to provide legal advice and services across contract, employment, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters in the APAC region, with a focus on China. The role will support business teams, develop legal templates and drive AI adoption in legal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and provide end‑to‑end legal support to business units.
• Advise Commercial Operations on contracting, risk allocation and daily legal queries.
• Counsel on intellectual property, technology, privacy, data protection and commercial compliance.
• Build and refine legal templates, playbooks and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Privacy, Procurement and other functions on cross‑team initiatives.
• Lead AI adoption in APAC legal, focusing on practical solutions for China.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent; PRC National Legal Professional Qualification required.
• 3–5 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm and/or in‑house team.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracting, IP, technology and privacy/compliance.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience improving legal templates or workflows.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team trust‑building skills.
