Associate / Senior Consultant – Transfer Pricing (Shenzhen/Guangzhou)

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking an Associate or Senior Consultant to join its Transfer Pricing team serving clients in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. You will work within the Global Tax and Business Advisory function, providing high‑quality tax advice and economic analysis to support client strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial recommendations on current tax legislation to manager‑level practitioners.
• Conduct economic analyses using accounting principles, financial data, and industry‑specific sources.
• Prepare client questionnaires, industry analyses, and data requests, ensuring accurate summarisation.
• Select appropriate data‑collection methods and develop informed recommendations that align with client business strategies.
• Utilise Transfer Pricing technology to identify complex issues and coordinate referrals to other tax teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least two years of Transfer Pricing experience.
• Professional qualification preferred (e.g., HKICPA, CICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CTA).
• Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP), tax laws, and payroll regulations.
• Excellent business writing in English and Chinese, with fluent spoken English.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements independently under time pressure.
