Associate Financial Clinical Operation Manager

About the role

The Associate Financial Clinical Operation Manager is responsible for the performance and compliance of assigned clinical protocols in China, ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP, local regulations, and company policies. The role oversees budget and finance aspects, manages country submissions and approvals, and guarantees sites are ready for trial start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage country and site budgets, including development, negotiation, and execution of Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRA).
• Oversee contract tracking, financial compliance (FCPA, DPS/OFAC), and maintain financial systems with forecasting in collaboration with senior COMs.
• Develop local language templates and training materials, and coordinate deliverables with CRM, CTC, CRA, finance and legal teams.
• Ensure local regulatory and financial compliance, manage vendor contracts, and oversee filing, archiving, and insurance processes.
• Influence investigators, external partners and country operations to meet budget targets and payment timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in clinical research or combined clinical research and finance/business roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Administration, Life Sciences or related health‑care field.
• Strong coordination, organizational and decision‑making abilities with minimal oversight.
• Deep understanding of local regulatory environment and ability to develop risk‑mitigation plans.
• Capability to lead and mentor a team of Clinical Trial Coordinators (CTCs) as needed.
