Assistant Store Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager you will support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, coaching teammates and driving sales performance in an Under Armour retail store in Hefei.

Key responsibilities

• Support the business plan by achieving sales, profitability and key objectives.
• Recruit, hire, coach and retain a high‑performing team.
• Analyze daily sales trends and make real‑time strategic decisions.
• Manage payroll, scheduling and productivity.
• Execute visual merchandising to maintain brand standards.
• Ensure loss‑prevention compliance and monitor store audits.
• Lead or rotate ownership of areas such as Talent, Visuals and Operations.
• Promote omni‑channel initiatives, including apps and social campaigns.
• Drive teammate engagement, recognize performance and address issues.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on policy enforcement and other tasks.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year retail experience.
• Fluency in the local language; basic English is a plus.
• Availability to work full‑time, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable using hand‑held and mobile devices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stand, lift and move merchandise.
