Assistant Professor in Sustainability and Governance

About the role

Nottingham University Business School China is seeking an Assistant Professor to lead research and teaching in sustainability and governance. The position is based on the University of Nottingham Ningbo China campus in Ningbo and contributes to the school’s triple‑crown accredited business programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead an ambitious programme of individual and collaborative research in sustainability and governance, publishing in leading peer‑reviewed journals.
• Generate external research income by preparing innovative proposals and building partnerships with academic, policy, industry and third‑sector organisations.
• Design, develop and deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in sustainability and governance, including curriculum leadership and course updates.
• Disseminate research findings through conferences, workshops and other appropriate channels.
