Art Teacher – International School in Beijing

About the role

The school is a newly established, rapidly expanding international institution in Beijing seeking a passionate Art Teacher. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering a high‑quality, forward‑looking curriculum for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across primary and secondary levels.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and artistic programmes.
• Participate fully in pastoral care and extra‑curricular activities, including art clubs and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across interdisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of post‑qualifying teaching experience.
• Culturally sensitive, adaptable and flexible in an international environment.
• Knowledge of the US curriculum is preferred; experience with UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand curricula is also welcome.
• Willingness to engage in the school’s pastoral care and extra‑curricular programme.
