Architect

About the role

We are looking for an Architect to lead design and documentation across multiple projects, ranging from general building to life‑science facilities. The role involves planning, designing, coordinating and delivering site plans and building solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, basic, and detailed construction designs, and prepare work packages and tender documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with Exyte standards, local authority codes, client design guides and best practices such as GMP, GLP, LEED and green building.
• Lead project meetings, presentations, site walks and design reviews with clients, contractors, engineers and authorities, and produce accurate meeting minutes.
• Inspect construction sites to verify safety, quality, schedule adherence and design compliance, and resolve coordination issues.
• Manage design changes, change orders and package updates to protect both Exyte and client interests.
• Promote safety awareness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Design and construction experience in general building projects.
• Experience in life‑science facilities with knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Familiarity with high‑technology, fast‑track or modular projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the latest versions of AutoCAD Architecture and Revit.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, write and present in English and Mandarin.
• Hand‑sketching and quick drawing skills for concept communication.
• Experience with Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Project and 3D rendering tools (optional).
