APAC Stores Recruiter

About the role

The APAC Stores Recruiter drives the recruiting and hiring strategy for the A&F Co. APAC store fleet, based at the Home Office in Shanghai and supporting stores in China, Hong Kong and Japan. The role covers full-life-cycle recruiting for management talent, builds attraction strategies, trains store managers on recruiting tools and supports part-time and seasonal staffing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the recruiting strategy for 50+ stores across the A&F portfolio of brands.
• Develop localized attraction strategies that draw diverse, qualified talent to brands in China, Hong Kong and Japan.
• Manage full-lifecycle recruiting for management roles, from open role to onboarding, prioritizing quality and speed.
• Track hiring metrics and market insights and share them with store management to inform strategy and process improvement.
• In growing markets, support new store openings by giving store managers recruiting tools, insights and training.
• Research and pilot staffing solutions and technologies with RMs, DMs, store operations, finance, legal and procurement using a test-and-learn approach.
• Coach store managers on recruiting part-time and seasonal talent and on maximizing recruiting tools.
• Work with store HRBPs and legal teams to ensure hiring compliance across countries.
• Create and deliver a market-specific employer branding strategy using social media, job boards and other platforms.
• Travel up to 35% of the time to local recruiting events, universities and store training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or related fields.
• Fluent English; Mandarin and other languages are a plus.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to coach and train.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships.
• Passion for retail and the A&F family of brands.
