APAC Digital Solution Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for end‑to‑end digital solution implementation for the Japan business as well as APAC regional and global initiatives. The specialist acts as the primary liaison between Japanese end users and global digital product owners, translating business needs into clear digital requirements and driving rollout and continuous improvement of global solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the global digital strategy and roadmap into actionable implementation plans for Japan, identifying local opportunities and leading change management.
• Serve as the main point of contact between Japanese users and global product owners, collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and implementation plans, ensuring on‑time delivery across borders.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), gather feedback, and drive continuous optimization of digital solution modules.
• Participate in and drive regional and global projects, contributing to cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering, materials science, or information technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital transformation, Agile/Scrum environments, and digital product management.
• Fluent Japanese (written and spoken) and strong English communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑border project timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• High sense of ownership, proactive mindset, and strong problem‑solving abilities in complex, cross‑regional settings.
