About the role

We are looking for an Android Development Engineer to join our software engineering team. The role involves writing, testing and debugging Android applications while collaborating closely with senior engineers and other team members.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development of software solutions by writing, testing and debugging code.
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from senior engineers to meet project goals.
• Participate in troubleshooting, production issue diagnosis and resolution under guidance.
• Support documentation of software requirements and specifications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a similar Android development role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Basic coding and debugging skills with a willingness to learn.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
