Accounting Faculty (LNNU-MSU Program)

About the role

The College of International Business at Liaoning Normal University (LNNU-MSU) in Dalian is looking for a full-time international Accounting faculty member. Faculty are approved by Missouri State University and employed by Liaoning Normal University, teaching Accounting in English as part of the academic program delivered in cooperation with Missouri State University. Relocation to Dalian is required, and knowledge of Chinese is not needed.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Accounting, typically five sections of a single course, with 15 lecture hours and 5 office hours per week.
• Work with Missouri State University to teach within the MSU-West Plains Associate of Arts degree in General Studies.
• Interact with students outside the classroom.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related field from an accredited institution, meeting HLC-accreditation standards.
• Two years of teaching experience in a related field; university or college-level experience preferred.
• Desired: a Ph.D. or other terminal degree, five or more years of teaching experience, and experience teaching students for whom English is a second language.
• Candidates interested in teaching for multiple years are preferred.

What we offer

• Salary of 16,000 to 22,000 RMB per month plus a 3,800 RMB monthly housing allowance.
• Assistance with a Chinese work permit and visa, long winter and summer holidays, and one-way airfare to Dalian with a return ticket after a completed contract.

• Initial spring-semester contract from February 1 to July 31, renewable to a one-year contract.
