Test Development Engineer – Sensor Measurement

About the role

We are looking for a Test Development Engineer to join Bosch’s sensor laboratory in Suzhou. You will work on developing measurement technologies for consumer MEMS pressure sensors, creating both hardware and software test platforms that support product qualification and customer sample testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop measurement hardware and software for MEMS pressure sensor characterization.
• Build test platforms using languages such as C#, Python and C/C++ and integrate them with laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with the final‑test team in Germany to define and implement new measurement concepts.
• Establish test standards that cover key performance parameters based on sensor expert requirements.
• Analyse test data to identify failure modes and work with ASIC and system design teams to improve sensor design or manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, software engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured working method.
• Good communication skills and the ability to align objectives across multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficient programming in C#, Python and C/C++.
• Experience with electrical measurement technologies and hardware test design.
• Knowledge of analog and digital hardware development.
