Technologist, Product Development - Gum & Candy (China)

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for a Technologist, Product Development for its Gum & Candy platform in China. The role focuses on innovation, re-innovation and quality improvement projects that deliver technical solutions supporting the business, working with cross-functional teams to develop products that meet Mondelēz quality standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovations that meet Mondelēz requirements
• Develop product processes that fit line capacity and scale up from culinary prototypes to commercial lines
• Develop technical specifications
• Support platform managers in tracking market trends and creative ideas under the category strategy
• Network to leverage global capabilities and external industry best practice to explore advanced technical designs and extended formats

Required profile

• Degree or Master's in Food Science & Engineering, Biology or Chemical Engineering
• More than 2 years of experience in the food industry with a track record of successful developments; confectionery experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of consumer science and analytical methodology
• Ability to organize pilot and commercial trials

• Daily English preferred

No relocation support is available. The position is regular, within the Science & Engineering product development function.
