工程技工 Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technician to join the engineering team of a hotel property. The role involves handling a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks across guest rooms, lighting, furniture and other facilities, ensuring smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective repairs on guest room facilities, lighting, furniture and equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance programmes and maintain accurate repair logs in the computerized system.
• Maintain parts inventory at appropriate levels and coordinate with external contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with hotel engineering standards, health and safety policies, and fire‑emergency procedures.
• Document daily work, report status and costs to supervisors, and prioritize tasks based on guest requests.

Required profile

• Vocational Certificate or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in hotel or property maintenance, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to follow departmental standards, attend on‑the‑job training and technical skill courses.

Required skills

• Repair and maintenance of hotel facilities (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Operation of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Inventory management for spare parts.
• Knowledge of safety, first‑aid and fire‑emergency procedures.
