Technical Trainer – DDP

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Technical Trainer to deliver specialized training courses both on‑site and at customer locations. The role involves creating and presenting customized curricula, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting customers with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Present technical training in‑house and at customer sites, managing classroom and lab activities to meet course objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, develop certification requirements, and certify others.
• Create and improve technical documentation, evaluate instructor performance, and approve course designs.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and system repair support to ensure training systems function correctly.
• Mentor junior instructors, manage multiple projects, and support engineering reviews and new product testing.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in technical training and instructional design.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (≈20% travel).
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal collaboration.
