Technical Product Manager - AI Applications

About the role

The company builds proactive applications for people who are not used to complex prompting, aiming to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organisation and workflows with minimal to no prompting. Its first application is an agent-first mobile communication app. It is looking for a Technical Product Manager in Beijing.

Key responsibilities

• Define product requirements, user flows, acceptance criteria and feature specifications.
• Work with engineering and design to assess technical feasibility, functionality and user experience.
• Prioritise features and manage the product backlog based on user needs and product goals.
• Coordinate development, testing and releases so features meet agreed requirements.
• Analyse product usage, user feedback and performance metrics to identify improvements.
• Research competing products and user behaviour to inform feature decisions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience in technology companies.
• Experience shipping software products in close collaboration with engineering and design.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define success metrics and use product data to guide iteration.
• Good product judgment and prioritisation, balancing user value, engineering effort and business objectives.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, data flows and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Ability to translate user and business requirements into precise specifications, acceptance criteria, edge cases and failure-handling requirements.
• Ability to understand technical designs, identify dependencies and risks, and discuss implementation trade-offs with engineers.
• Nice to have: engineering background or hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, developer tools or AI-powered products.
