Teacher of Secondary English (IGCSE & A-Level)

About the role

Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science is looking for a dedicated Teacher of Secondary English to deliver IGCSE and A-Level programmes starting August 2026. You will inspire students to love language, literature and critical thinking while preparing them for academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking and appreciation of diverse perspectives.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate local Chinese educational standards and new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Passion for student development and belief in their ability to learn.
• Willingness to learn and apply Chinese curriculum standards.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively in a dual‑language immersion environment.
