Primary English Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary English Teacher to join Hangzhou Dipont School of Arts and Science. The role involves delivering engaging English lessons to students in Grades 1‑6 across our bilingual and international programmes, with an immediate start and flexible start date through December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
• Adapt instruction for both bilingual and international divisions, catering to diverse learner needs.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor support to individual abilities.
• Participate in literacy initiatives, creative writing, storytelling and other enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance the overall curriculum and school community.

Required profile

• Degree in English, English Literature, English Language, Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., UK QTS/PGCE or equivalent US, Canadian, Australian credential).
• Minimum three years of primary‑level English teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of literacy development and ability to teach within an international or bilingual curriculum.
• Eligibility to meet Chinese work‑permit requirements.
