Teacher of Primary English - February Start

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Primary English to join the Bilingual Division of Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science. The role begins in February 2027 and focuses on delivering a high‑quality bilingual English programme to Upper Primary learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Upper Primary students.
• Develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, emphasizing vocabulary, grammar and comprehension.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Foster a love of literature and encourage confident use of English in academic and everyday contexts.
• Participate in pastoral care, co‑curricular activities and school community events.

Required profile

• Degree in English, English Language, English Literature, Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., UK QTS/PGCE or equivalent US, Canadian, Australian credential).
• Minimum three years of experience teaching English at Upper Primary level.
• Strong understanding of primary literacy development and experience with EAL learners.
• Ability to meet Chinese work‑permit requirements and start in February 2027.
