Kindergarten English Teacher – International School (Wuxi)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Kindergarten English Teacher to lead an early‑years class at our international school in Wuxi. The role begins in August 2026 and supports the IB Primary Years Programme, delivering inquiry‑based, child‑centred learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality IB PYP lessons for young learners.
• Document Units of Inquiry on ManageBac and collaborate with the Curriculum Coordinator.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of every child, including those with individual learning requirements.
• Maintain pastoral care, wellbeing and behaviour management for the class.
• Create an organized, stimulating classroom environment that fosters independence and resilience.
• Build strong partnerships with families and support cultural respect.
• Guide assistant teachers and classroom helpers as needed.
• Participate actively in team meetings and whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred).
• Relevant teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, state licence or equivalent).
• Early‑years teaching experience; IB PYP experience is a plus.
• Open to candidates currently based in China or overseas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ManageBac for curriculum planning and documentation.
