Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

HARMAN Automotive is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with business leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues. You will design and execute recruiting strategies that attract top‑tier talent for engineering and commercial roles, while promoting the HARMAN brand as an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary recruiter for multiple client groups, advising on talent market trends and sourcing strategies.
• Identify qualified candidates through employee referrals, social networks, alumni networks, internal transfers and other channels.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and implement sourcing plans and keep stakeholders updated on pipeline progress.
• Manage the full candidate lifecycle—from qualification and interview coordination to offer negotiation, pre‑employment requirements and onboarding.
• Create clear, compelling communications that convey the HARMAN talent story.
• Utilize recruiting technologies such as Avature, Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter to stay at the forefront of talent acquisition.
• Maintain accurate applicant data in the ATS and proactively address complex recruitment challenges.
• Share market intelligence with hiring teams and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of full‑life‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in engineering or commercial hiring.
• Strong customer focus with a consultative approach to internal clients.
• Experience managing recruitment processes through an Applicant Tracking System.
• Solid knowledge of recruitment and hiring laws and best practices.
