Talent Acquisition Intern (International Students)

About the role

Tencent is looking for an intern within its S3 HR and Management Line, which supports the company's organization, talent and culture through productized HR services. The internship is aimed at international students and focuses on recruiting and sourcing for open positions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with hiring teams to understand their needs and the qualifications needed to source candidates for open positions.
• Carry out market research to find where potential candidates can be reached, how best to engage them and what market and industry trends exist.
• Build and maintain talent pools for evergreen positions, keeping candidate pipelines active across various platforms and groups.
• Reach out to potential candidates by email, social media or phone to gauge their interest and share job opportunities.
• Generate referrals by encouraging both candidates and employees to refer qualified people.
• Report on and analyse existing sourcing projects, such as conversion rates, and suggest improvements to the sourcing process.

Required profile

• Currently an undergraduate or master's degree student; a strong interest in recruitment is preferred.
• Ideally has prior recruitment or sourcing experience, including exposure to Boolean searches.
• Ability to adapt to cross-regional and cross-cultural work patterns, with great teamwork and fast learning.
• Bilingual communication in English and Mandarin with stakeholders from HQ and international teams.
