HR Intern (International Students)

About the role

Tencent is building a talent pipeline for its overseas HR teams and is looking for international students passionate about a career in Human Resources. Shortlisted candidates get the chance to relocate to Shenzhen for further training and global exposure, and may receive a return offer to join full-time after graduating in 2026. Interns gain exposure to Tencent's HR functions, build a professional network with key stakeholders and learn about corporate culture.

Key responsibilities

• Learning & Culture Team: help design and run employee learning programs and cultural initiatives
• Talent Acquisition Team: support employer branding, referral programs and data analytics
• HRBP Team: partner with business units on people strategy, employee relations and workforce planning
• HR Operations Team: contribute to optimising HR processes, data management and compliance
• HR Compliance Team: help manage workplace policies, employee engagement and conflict resolution

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or an equivalent field, graduating in 2026
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English
• Passion for Human Resources
• Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural environment
