System Administrator

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive System Administrator to ensure the stability, performance and security of its IT infrastructure. You will work closely with multiple teams to support daily operations, troubleshoot issues and implement upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system activities daily, analyze utilization and manage capacity.
• Perform performance tuning and coordinate system upgrades or fixes.
• Add and delete user accounts, generate required reports, and support desktop/laptop environments.
• Resolve horizontal application problems such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Provide remote access support including VPN, Remote Desktop and wireless connectivity.
• Apply OS patches, antivirus updates and manage service pack upgrades.
• Upgrade software, firmware and perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Diagnose compatibility issues, configure IP settings and digital phones.
• Raise hardware tickets with vendors based on warranty status.
• Validate physical condition of assets before issuance and upon return.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in system administration, including desktop and laptop support.
• Ability to work with various internal teams on initiatives and participate in QMA/BCPDR drills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
