Supply Chain Security Compliance Specialist – APAC

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Supply Chain Security Compliance Specialist to protect its global supply chain by performing comprehensive physical and cyber security assessments of third‑party manufacturers and suppliers across the APAC region. The role involves extensive travel, on‑site evaluations, and close collaboration with internal security and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site physical and cybersecurity assessments of suppliers and contract manufacturers throughout APAC.
• Evaluate supplier environments against standards such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800‑171, TAPA, and Amazon’s internal frameworks.
• Assess security domains including network segmentation, access control, data encryption, endpoint and server security, secure software provisioning, incident response, CCTV monitoring, and physical/environmental controls.
• Document findings, assign risk ratings, and deliver actionable remediation guidance.
• Partner with internal security, compliance, and supply‑chain teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Track remediation progress and verify closure through follow‑up assessments or evidence reviews.
• Contribute to the development of standardized assessment methodologies and automation tools.
• Provide training and knowledge‑sharing sessions for suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity assessments, audits, or supplier security evaluations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience conducting on‑site assessments in manufacturing, hardware, or software supply‑chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800‑171, and TAPA.
