Consultant – Resilience, Security & Risk (Electronic Security Systems)

About the role

Arup is looking for a Consultant to support resilience, security and risk projects focused on electronic security systems across East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of the security marketplace.
• Assist planning of physical and electronic security measures, including threat and risk assessments.
• Support delivery of technical services and related deliverables.
• Liaise with subject‑matter experts within the organisation.
• Assist project management of commercial, technical and programme delivery aspects of security projects.
• Work with clients during project delivery and help develop business throughout East Asia.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as an engineer, security consultant or a related role.
• Experience in design, specification and implementation of ICT or ELV systems (a plus).
• Experience establishing physical and electronic security needs, including ICT and ELV, through design, specification, tendering/procurement and project management.
• Overseas work experience is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, high potential and flexibility.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Chinese is desirable.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business.
