About the role
We are looking for a Structural Simulation Engineer to lead simulation activities for automotive electronic products. You will work on vibration‑fatigue, thermo‑mechanical and static analyses to ensure product reliability and support problem‑solving across the development cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural simulations, including vibration‑fatigue, thermo‑mechanical and static analyses for automotive electronics.
- Analyse load paths and cause‑effect relationships to assess reliability risks.
- Collaborate with global experts to develop simulation competence and standardise methods.
- Automate simulation workflows and drive standardisation across projects.
- Provide internal training, share case studies and mentor junior engineers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Vehicle, Aerospace, Materials Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in structural simulation for automotive electronics (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with solid engineering judgement.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with at least one FEM tool such as Ansys or Abaqus.
- Programming capability in Matlab or Python.
- Knowledge of fatigue analysis theory, mechanics of materials and finite element fundamentals.
- Familiarity with testing procedures for vibration, modal analysis and material constitutive models.
