Operations Consultant (Senior)

About the role

We are seeking an intellectually curious Operations Consultant who can turn complex operational challenges into practical business solutions. The role involves working across industries and functions, leveraging data‑driven analysis and client‑facing skills to drive transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Structure complex business problems and develop fact‑based solutions for operational and transformation challenges.
• Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, benchmarking and quantitative analysis to uncover key insights.
• Translate analyses into actionable recommendations and high‑quality deliverables such as presentations, reports and workshop materials.
• Drive project workstreams or modules from planning through execution, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Facilitate client discussions, workshops and alignment sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate closely with client teams and project members to support operational improvement initiatives.
• Leverage digital and AI‑enabled tools to enhance analytical rigor and productivity.
• For senior candidates, independently manage project modules, coach junior consultants and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related fields.
• 3‑10 years of experience in management consulting, operational excellence, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or business transformation.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to manage workstreams or project modules independently.
• High learning agility and ability to adapt quickly to new industries and topics.
• Professional proficiency in both Chinese and English; additional proficiency in German or Japanese is a plus.
