Sr. Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to lead the sourcing of sunroof sub‑components for BCC at Inalfa Roof Systems. You will act as the primary link between our supply base and business management, ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality supply for our automotive roof systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tactical purchasing activities including RFQs, engineering changes, quality development, delivery improvement, and material cost reduction.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives such as new supplier development, global sourcing, supply‑base reduction and commodity strategy execution.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to meet profitability targets while maintaining long‑term supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with the supply‑chain team to guarantee supply availability and drive total cost of ownership reductions.
• Participate in cross‑functional project teams to support on‑time product launches.
• Monitor industry trends, raw material pricing and capacity constraints, and provide proactive recommendations.
• Audit and certify new suppliers in partnership with Quality and R&D.
