Specialist, Technical Account Management

About the role

As a Specialist in Technical Account Management at Checkout.com, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with key enterprise clients, ensuring their satisfaction by resolving technical issues and optimizing payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, managing relationships and driving adoption of Checkout.com’s products.
• Provide expert guidance, troubleshoot integration issues, and lead technical migrations and new payment solution implementations.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and workshops to support upselling and keep clients updated on new features.
• Gather client feedback, document feature requests, and relay insights to internal product teams.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to advise clients on the evolving payments landscape.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical or technical role with stakeholder management.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites.

Required skills

• API‑based integration methods and related tools/frameworks.
• Front‑end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Payments industry regulations and technical frameworks (3DS, SCA, AVS, MIT).
• Knowledge of payment security standards (PCI‑DSS, PSD2) is a plus.
