Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will lead the facility maintenance team at CBRE's Beijing factory, ensuring reliable operation of all building systems, utilities and equipment. This senior position combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic project delivery and continuous improvement of safety, energy and performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and manage repair, preventive maintenance and emergency response for building, electrical, fire, water, gas and power systems.
• Oversee high‑ and low‑voltage power distribution and ensure uninterrupted site energy supply.
• Drive daily facility operations, inspection management, 5S implementation and facility operation planning.
• Manage external service suppliers, monitor vendor quality and enforce service standards.
• Develop and execute preventive‑maintenance programs, assign work orders and track completion.
• Coordinate with internal customers on maintenance issues and project‑related matters.
• Support on‑time‑in‑full delivery of plant modifications and energy‑saving investment projects.
• Coach and train the maintenance team, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
• Implement and continuously improve CMMS usage, safety and risk management processes.
• Lead energy‑management initiatives, including analysis, savings programs and SOP documentation.
• Handle government inspections, customer and third‑party audits, and maintain required documentation.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background with relevant certification.
• Strong HSE awareness and certification.
• Proven people‑management capability and data‑driven reporting skills.
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem‑solving and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments.
