Site HR Officer (Shenzhen & HK)

About the role

NXP is looking for a Site HR Officer to cover its Shenzhen and Hong Kong sites. The role manages the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, and acts as the focal point for all site-level HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, and act as the main contact for site-level HR issues
• Boost employee engagement and work with local managers to improve site climate
• Partner with the local Staff Club on events such as Family Day, Earth Day, Birthday Party and Annual Party
• Monthly prepare and update social benefit movements, housing fund and updates on local government policies
• Work with the Site Manager on office operations, collaborating with Real Estate, IT, Finance and other functions
• Support annual audits in HK and Shenzhen from an HR perspective
• For the HK site: work with the payroll team on payroll data corrections and the annual Employer Tax Return, and work with the pension trustee HSBC on pension fund management
• Support ad hoc HR operations such as reporting, data analysis and payroll, using AI tools to improve efficiency, and support HR projects locally and globally
• Support China inclusion projects and ad hoc HR projects initiated globally and locally

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience in a multinational company; knowledge of HK labour law is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business management or a related field
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders and businesses
• Self-motivated, proactive and highly disciplined, able to work independently under remote supervision
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with strong English proficiency
