Senior Study Start-up Specialist

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Senior Study Start-up Specialist in Beijing. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, you will support the Study Start-up Team Lead in developing and executing the plan for country and site distribution, in a large-scale, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site start-up and activation tasks with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Drive study initiation: feasibility assessments, site identification, site contract negotiation and other critical study start-up activities.
• Provide expertise to study start-up team leads and project teams.
• Prepare and coordinate submissions to regulatory, ethics and other bodies, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Contribute to the development, finalization and review of Master and Country Specific Subject Information Sheets and Informed Consent Forms to protect patient welfare.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or local equivalent, and/or appropriate experience from a medical, science or related background.
• At least 3 years of experience or understanding of clinical study start-up requirements and activities.
• Fluency in the local language and English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
