Clinical Trial Liaison (Home Based, China)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Clinical Trial Liaison to join its China team. This is a home-based position in which the liaison acts as a highly trained site engagement specialist, supporting clinical trials by giving scientific and clinical support to investigators and site staff so they understand the study design and procedures, and by helping to drive patient enrolment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement clinical trial enrollment strategies.
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster relationships with study sites and investigators to improve patient recruitment and retention.
• Act as a liaison between sponsors, investigators and study participants, guiding them through the enrollment process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enrollment processes and strategies.
• Cultivate relationships and recruit the most appropriate sites to take part in trials.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (M.D., PharmD or PhD).
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to 80%, mostly domestically.
• Experience in a clinical research environment in pharma, biotech or CRO in scientific and/or clinical operations is preferred.
• Proven experience in clinical trial enrollment or related roles.
• Knowledge of the local healthcare landscape.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
