Senior Manager, Business Development

About the role

Johnson Electric is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Development in Shenzhen. The role drives business growth and P&L for the Integrated Thermal Management System (ITMS) and Components (water pumps, valves with manifolds, etc.), builds a customer network and leads a cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive business growth and P&L for the ITMS and components business.
• Consolidate requirements with engineering teams to build the product roadmap and pipeline for new business, then work with project teams to deliver awarded programs.
• Build and maintain a strong customer network, reviewing regularly with customers so deliverables meet timelines and objectives.
• Analyze existing and new customers to build business cases, understand purchase criteria, address pain points and set pricing strategy with financial leaders.
• Take part in commercial negotiations on pricing, incentives, services and conditions, and manage the P&L of assigned customer accounts before and after start of production.
• Define product positioning by identifying "right-to-win" and "weak-to-win" scenarios, and study competitors and supply chain dynamics.
• Cultivate and lead a cross-functional team to drive innovation and growth.
