Senior Audit Associate – Chengdu/Chongqing

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to lead small to medium audit engagements for multinational and listed clients in Chengdu and Chongqing. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art technology and a risk‑based audit methodology to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Assume overall control of small to medium sized audit assignments.
• Lead audit engagements and occasionally handle accounting and taxation tasks.
• Build trust with stakeholders while maintaining independence and understanding service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality services by applying regulatory and risk‑management knowledge.
• Exercise independent judgment on tools, guidance, and methodology.
• Proactively develop a thorough understanding of risk assessment and contribute to risk discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in accounting or related fields.
• CPA certification (CICPA, HKICPA or other) is desirable.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience in a Big 4 or comparable CPA firm.
• Good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and/or HK GAAP, with strong IPO‑related knowledge.
• Accreditation as a Green & Sustainable Finance (GSF) professional is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
