Senior Android Developer – Game Storefront

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join Xsolla’s Storefront Engineering team. You will build a high‑quality, white‑label Android game store from the ground up, tackling challenges in large‑game distribution, download management, and multi‑tenant theming.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the Android client using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement core features such as game browsing, search, detail pages, user accounts, library, ratings and reviews.
• Build a robust download, install and update management module with resumable downloads, signature verification and version control.
• Create white‑label theming and multi‑channel build capabilities via Gradle product flavors or runtime configuration.
• Optimize performance, stability, binary size and memory usage.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend developers and QA, contributing to technical design and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and enforce coding standards.

Required profile

• Strong Kotlin and modern Android development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑file downloaders, app stores or content distribution systems.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Prior experience in the game industry.
