Semiconductor Equipment Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to lead new machine introductions, drive continuous improvement, and support maintenance activities for semiconductor production lines in Suzhou. You will work closely with the NPI team, suppliers, and service technicians to ensure high machine availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and release new machines (NPI) and integrate production processes with MES systems.
• Own MTBF/MTTR metrics, initiate improvement plans, and lead cost‑reduction projects.
• Design tooling changes to lower contact failure rates and cycle time, enhancing machine capacity.
• Develop and maintain systematic maintenance plans and provide second‑level technical support.
• Train and guide service technicians, fostering a structured troubleshooting approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience with semiconductor equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to work in an English‑speaking environment.
