SE Team Leader – New Product Industrialization

About the role

The SE Team Leader will drive the industrialization of new steering system products from design through to serial production at Bosch Automotive Steering in Jinan. This senior position requires leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring on‑time delivery of high‑quality manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new product industrialization, coordinating process planning, equipment specification, plant layout and capacity planning aligned with project milestones.
• Develop, validate and release manufacturing processes for new production lines, including CP, FMEA, work instructions and process documentation.
• Manage the SE team, allocating tasks, building competencies and overseeing performance while supporting production ramp‑up and continuous improvement.
• Conduct process capability validation, PPAP submissions and process audits to achieve serial release per Bosch standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Five or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrialization, preferably in an automotive or large‑scale manufacturing environment.
• Previous team leadership experience; experience in a joint‑venture or wholly‑foreign‑owned enterprise is a plus.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong organizational and analytical skills.
