Quality Engineer (Jinan) – Vehicle Manufacturing

About the role

Join Bosch Automotive Steering in Jinan as a Quality Engineer, supporting new vehicle steering system projects and ensuring high‑quality delivery across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan preventive quality activities for new projects, manage MAE, process and product releases, and prepare PPAP documentation.
• Oversee Bosch internal PtP delivery quality, handling product releases and internal complaints.
• Plan and execute safe‑launch activities to achieve incident‑free project ramp‑up.
• Drive continuous quality improvement using 8D problem‑solving, traceability enhancements, and risk elimination.
• Coordinate internal handling of customer claims, including containment actions and risk evaluation.
• Support maintenance of the Quality Management System and promote quality methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of quality experience in the automotive industry.
• Good health, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Required skills

• Problem‑solving methods such as 8D or Shainin.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA.
• Understanding of GD&T and related measurement techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Data‑analysis skills using Power BI or Python.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
