Rising Fan – Restaurant Team Leader

About the role

The Rising Fan will lead the restaurant team at Mandarin Oriental Sanya, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and supporting the achievement of five‑star service standards. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, this role combines day‑to‑day operational oversight with staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all restaurant staff and manage daily operations to maintain service, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house tours to verify set‑up, service standards, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor staffing and supply levels, ensuring appropriate scheduling and inventory control.
• Assist the manager with recruitment, interviewing, training, and performance development of team members.
• Lead daily departmental meetings, F&B briefings, and pre‑shift communications.
• Engage with guests at their tables to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
