Quality Engineer – Sensor Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support sensor testing for both consumer and automotive products. The role ensures product and process quality, handles customer and supplier issues, and drives continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customer complaints, conduct investigations, prepare 8D reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Organise and support customer, lead‑plant and internal audits, including preparation, communication and audit follow‑up.
• Manage product returns from internal customers and plan product, workstation and shipment audits.
• Control non‑conformities of raw material, work‑in‑progress and finished goods, including block/unblock decisions and risk assessments.
• Perform internal process surveillance such as quality issue monitoring, machine release, line walks and test program releases.
• Handle raw‑material issues, communicate with global supplier management and monitor improvement effectiveness.
• Support new project introductions by coordinating PV/QZ activities, PPAP, risk identification and discussions with project teams.
• Oversee trimming and testing process quality, manage abnormal dispositions and coordinate quality issues.
• Provide quality‑management methods (PSS, 8D, FMEA, risk assessment) to business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Strong command of English.
• Proficient with office software and capable of effective communication, negotiation and teamwork.
