Product & Application Engineer – Heat Exchangers (Food Industry)

About the role

We are looking for a Product & Application Engineer to provide technical support for heat exchangers used in the food industry. The role combines pre‑sales design, after‑sales troubleshooting and the development of application platforms to help customers optimise their processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales technical support, including design solutions, seminars, new application development and preparation of bidding documents for heat exchangers.
• Deliver after‑sales assistance such as troubleshooting and handling customer claims.
• Build and maintain a product‑and‑application platform with value‑selling materials, case studies, design guidelines and references.
• Coordinate with central business units, product managers and factories on product customisation, optimisation and portfolio expansion.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions and gather competitor product information.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in the food industry (dairy, beverage, brewery) with process or engineering background.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (food science, dairy, biological, fermentation, chemical).
• Strong communication and presentation abilities and fluent oral and written English.

Required skills

• Heat exchanger technology, especially plate heat exchangers.
• Technical support for pre‑sales and after‑sales activities.
