Product Application Engineer – Acoustics (MEMS)

About the role

Bosch is looking for a technically‑driven Product Application Engineer specializing in MEMS acoustic products. You will serve as the technical bridge between R&D, global customers and OEM partners, providing on‑site and remote support for high‑performance audio solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑cycle technical support for MEMS microphones and speakers, including remote guidance and on‑site debugging.
• Assist customers with design‑in activities: schematic review, PCB layout optimisation, acoustic cavity verification and mechanical integration.
• Conduct acoustic calibration and troubleshooting (SNR, frequency response, THD, SPL, directivity, echo cancellation, noise reduction) and produce test reports.
• Support system‑level audio debugging for TWS earbuds, wearables, smartphones, smart glasses, AR/VR and automotive acoustic systems.
• Create customer‑focused technical documents, application notes, hardware design guidelines and integration manuals.

Required profile

• Strong background in audio software and system engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with on‑site debugging of acoustic hardware.
• Excellent cross‑team communication skills.
• Ability to guide customers from concept through mass production.
