Procurement Project Manager – Mother & Child Care

About the role

The Procurement Project Manager – Mother & Child Care is responsible for handling small‑scale procurement projects or sub‑projects, ensuring they align with project objectives, specifications, timelines and resource requirements. Working under general supervision, the role also manages the savings funnel by tracking cost‑saving initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and plan small‑scale procurement projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, specifications, timelines and resources.
• Track and manage cost‑saving initiatives, monitoring progress against targets and identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Participate in phase‑in and phase‑out planning for new product introductions and lifecycle management, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans, oversee progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, documenting plans, meeting minutes and status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent, or vocational education in Project Management.
• No prior experience required with a Bachelor’s degree, or up to 4 years experience with relevant vocational education.
• Preferred: Philips PM Foundation Certification.
