About the role

Nord Anglia International School Shanghai is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to deliver high‑expectation learning experiences for our students. You will design curriculum‑aligned activities, enrich the after‑school programme, and foster a culture where every learner can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the school’s Primary curriculum.
• Create and support after‑school enrichment activities.
• Promote a respectful classroom environment through questioning and discussion.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.

Required profile

• Degree and recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Strong communication skills with parents, students and staff.
• Eligibility to meet China visa requirements.
