Primary School Teacher – International School in Beijing

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Primary School Teacher to join our international K‑12 school in Beijing’s Chaoyang District for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role combines homeroom responsibilities with teaching core subjects, fostering a student‑centered learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in English, mathematics, science/social studies, and personal/social classes.
• Act as homeroom teacher, overseeing daily routines and pastoral care.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments; provide constructive report comments.
• Monitor student progress, set targets, and communicate feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to develop and refine the curriculum.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Teaching experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
• Strong communication abilities in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in lesson planning and assessment design.
• Ability to integrate problem‑solving projects into subject teaching.
