Primary School Teacher – International School in Beijing

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our international K‑12 school in Beijing’s Chaoyang District for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role combines homeroom responsibilities with teaching core subjects such as English, mathematics, science/social studies, and personal/social classes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons across multiple subjects, following the IB PYP framework.
• Design and grade assessments, write report comments, and maintain accurate student records.
• Monitor student progress, set learning targets, and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and departmental staff to develop and refine a comprehensive curriculum.
• Support interdisciplinary projects and contribute to a student‑centered learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
