Primary School Teacher – International School in Beijing

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our international K‑12 school in Beijing’s Chaoyang District for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role combines homeroom responsibilities with teaching a range of core subjects in a student‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as homeroom teacher and deliver lessons in English, math, science/social studies, and personal/social classes.
• Prepare lesson plans, tutoring techniques, assessments, and write report comments.
• Assess and monitor student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and caregivers.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with other teachers and departments to support interdisciplinary learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Teaching experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills.
